Norah Jones is on tour promoting her new album called The Fall. I recentley bought her album as a new discovery to my collection and found that it was my cup of tea. Even though I have just come across her you proably know at least one of her 4 albums.

Norah Jones made her debut album in 2002 and has already won 12 Grammys plus more awards and many more nominations. Her music which includes different types of styles like Jazz, blues, pop, soul, folk and country has gone round the world.

Norah Jones will be at the Apollo Theatre on Monday 21st June 2010 – 7.30pm and tickets are available here.

Fleet Foxes are a Seattle based band made of up of a 5 men team whose influences include gospel, hymns, folk, motown, baroque pop to country-rock.

They first hit the limelight in 2008 with the release of their second EP, Sun Giant, and their début full length album Fleet Foxes. Both albums received critical praise and reviewers often noted their use of refined lyrics and vocal harmonies.

They will be stunning us in Manchester with their superb harmonies at the Apollo on Friday 11th September 2009 – 7pm and tickets are available from here.

James Taylor a Grammy Award winning American singer-songwriter and guitarist, sings sensitive and introspective songs.

He will be preforming in Manchester at the MEN Arena on the 30th June and tickets will be available here. Again I do not know too much about James Taylor, but thank heavens for Youtube, just to enable you to get a feel of his music.

I am sure I will enjoy, partly because I am learning to play the guitar and there is nothing more enjoyable watching someone pluck the guitar with such sensitivity.

Kenneth Rogers American country music singer-songwriter who I think would like to be know also as a photographer, record producer, actor and entrepreneur.

With more than 70 hit singles across various music genres and topping the country and pop album charts, will I am sure be well greeted in Manchester, not just from Country and Western Fans.
